What You Can Now Do
Context Memo customers can now view their onboarding workflow as a React Flow diagram with step drawers and batch approval capabilities in the brand onboarding plan section. Instead of advancing through setup one screen at a time, you see the whole plan laid out as connected nodes: which steps are done, which are waiting on you, and which depend on something upstream. The practical change is in approvals. When four or five steps are sitting in a reviewable state, you select them and approve them together rather than opening each one in sequence. For teams where onboarding approval sits with a marketing lead who touches the account twice a week, that turns a multi-session task into a single pass.
Where It Is in Context Memo
The flow view lives in the brand onboarding plan section, on the onboarding plan screen for the brand you're setting up. The diagram renders in place of the previous list layout. Each node on the canvas is a setup step, clicking one opens a side drawer with that step's detail and its available actions, and a selection control along the plan lets you act on several steps at once.
How to Use It
- Open the onboarding plan for your brand. The plan renders as a flow diagram, with each setup step as a node and the dependencies between them drawn as connections. You can see the full shape of your setup before you touch anything.
- Click any node to open its step drawer. The drawer shows that step's detail and the actions available on it, without navigating away from the diagram. Close the drawer and you're back on the canvas with your position intact.
- Work through a single step in its drawer when it needs attention individually. Review the inputs, make your edits, and submit from inside the drawer. The node state updates on the canvas when you're done.
- Select multiple steps when several are ready for the same decision. Use batch approval to clear them in one action instead of opening each drawer in turn.
- Scan the canvas after approving to confirm what moved. Steps that were blocked by a dependency you just cleared become actionable, and the diagram shows you what's next without a page reload.
Why We Built It
The complaint was specific: customers could not see their onboarding workflow as a whole. A flat list told you there were steps, not how they related, and not which ones were waiting on the same decision from the same person. So approvals arrived in drips. A marketing lead would open the plan, clear one step, and come back the next day to clear the one that unblocked. Setup stretched across days for reasons that had nothing to do with the work itself, which meant the first scans and the first published memos were waiting on calendar time rather than effort. Seeing the full plan at once and approving in batches removes that stall.
What It Does Not Do Yet
The flow view covers the brand onboarding plan. It is not a general project view for everything in your account, and it does not replace your own project tracker or CMS. Keep those where they are.
Batch approval applies to steps that are in an approvable state. Steps still waiting on an upstream dependency, or on input you haven't supplied, won't be included in a batch selection. You'll still open those individually once the blocker clears.
One note on fit, since onboarding is where this surfaces first: the plan assumes you have an existing domain and content to work from. Brands publishing from a standing start will spend more of the plan on foundational steps, and the flow view will show that honestly rather than hide it behind a progress bar.
