What You Can Now Do
Context Memo now gives you a dedicated GTM Strategy page where you can view, organize, and version your go-to-market plans by customer segments, market sections, pipeline stages, and revenue data. Your segments, pipeline stages, and revenue projections live in the same dashboard as your AI visibility data, so the strategy that drives your memo program is no longer a separate document you maintain by hand. The practical change: when you decide which personas and prompts to target next, you can check that decision against the pipeline and revenue picture on the same screen, then look back at an earlier version to see what you believed last quarter and whether the plan actually moved.
Where It Is in Context Memo
GTM Strategy is a top-level page in the brand dashboard. The screen holds four things: a customer list view, market and pipeline section organization, revenue projections, and version history with comparison. Each section is editable in place. Version history sits alongside the plan itself, so you compare revisions without leaving the page.
How to Use It
- Open GTM Strategy in the brand dashboard. You'll land on the current plan, or an empty structure if this is your first visit.
- Populate the customer list view. Enter the segments you sell into. This becomes the list you work from in every other section of the page, and it maps directly to the personas you target in memo generation.
- Organize your market and pipeline sections. Define the market areas you compete in and the stages deals move through. The page groups your entries so you can see which segments map to which stage rather than reading them as a flat list.
- Add revenue data and projections. Attach revenue figures to the segments and stages you've defined. The projections render against your structure, so a segment with no supporting plan is visible as a gap.
- Save a version. Each save creates a point you can return to. Name versions to match your planning cadence (quarter, half, annual) so comparisons line up with how your team actually reviews.
- Compare two versions. Select any two saved versions to see what changed between them: which segments were added or dropped, how pipeline structure shifted, and how revenue assumptions moved.
Why We Built It
Customers told us the same thing repeatedly: the go-to-market plan lived somewhere else. A spreadsheet, a slide deck, a doc that one person owned. The strategy driving which prompts to monitor, which personas to target, and which memos to publish sat outside the product doing that work, which meant the plan went stale quietly and nobody caught it until a quarter's worth of content had been aimed at segments that were no longer priorities. Now the plan is documented in the same place as the scan data and citation results it is supposed to inform.
What It Does Not Do Yet
A few limits worth knowing before you build your planning process around this page.
- Revenue data is entered, not synced. The page does not pull figures from your CRM. If you run HubSpot, revenue projections on the GTM Strategy page are maintained separately from your pipeline records. Keep your CRM as the system of record for actuals and treat this page as the strategic layer on top of it.
- No automatic link between plan changes and memo targeting. Adding a segment here does not generate memos for it or adjust your monitored prompts. You still set persona targeting in memo generation yourself. The GTM Strategy page tells you what to aim at; aiming is still a separate action.
- Version comparison is manual. There is no alert when a plan has gone untouched for a quarter or when revenue projections diverge from what's happening in your scans. You decide when to compare and what to read into it.
This page assumes you already have a go-to-market position worth documenting. If you're pre-launch with no segments defined and no domain authority behind you, the structure will be empty and stay empty. Build the position first, then bring it here.
