What You Can Now Do
Context Memo now accepts a ?cta_gallery=1 query parameter on a memo, which renders every available offer style together on that single memo for side-by-side review and comparison. Instead of applying one style, saving, reloading, and trying to hold the last version in your head, you see all of them stacked against your actual memo copy in one scroll. The decision this changes is narrow and frequent: which offer presentation belongs at the end of this specific memo, given its length, its reader, and the action you want after the citation lands. You answer that in one page load rather than a sequence of them.
Where It Is in Context Memo
Gallery mode lives on the memo page itself, not in a settings panel. Open the memo in your browser, append the parameter to the URL, and the page re-renders with each offer style applied in turn to the same body content. Everything else on the screen stays as published: the same headings, the same schema markup, the same domain. Only the offer blocks multiply.
How to Use It
- Open the memo you want to evaluate in a browser tab. Use the live URL on your custom domain if the memo is published, so you are looking at the real typography and spacing rather than an approximation.
- Add
?cta_gallery=1to the end of the URL and load the page. If the URL already carries a query string, use&cta_gallery=1instead. The memo returns with every offer style rendered in sequence. - Scroll to the offer blocks and compare them against the memo's closing paragraph. Judge each one on fit with the surrounding copy, not in isolation: a dense offer after a short memo reads differently than the same block after a long one.
- Note the style you want, then set it on the memo where offer style is configured for that memo. The gallery is a rendering view, so the parameter alone does not change what is saved.
- Reload the memo without the parameter. You now see the single style a reader and a crawler will get, which is the version that matters for citation.
- Repeat on one memo per template or persona rather than on every memo. Offer styles behave consistently across memos of similar length, so a decision made once carries.
Why We Built It
The request came in plainly: "I need to see how different offer styles look on my memo without having to switch between them one at a time." The old loop cost a save, a reload, and a judgment call made from memory for every option, which meant most people compared two styles and stopped. That is a small amount of time and a real amount of quality, because the offer block is the part of a memo that converts an AI citation into a visit and a visit into a conversation. Comparison you can actually do gets done.
What It Does Not Do Yet
Gallery mode is reached by typing a query parameter. There is no button or menu item for it yet, so it is a power-user path rather than a discoverable one, and you will want to bookmark the pattern if you review offers often.
The view is read-only. You cannot click a style inside the gallery to apply it; selection still happens in the memo's own configuration, which is why step 4 above exists. If you share a gallery URL with a colleague for review, they see every style too, so treat those links as internal review links and not as the canonical memo URL you want indexed or cited.
One behavior worth planning around: the parameter affects the page as rendered for whoever loads that URL. Use the clean URL in anything you publish, sitemap, or submit for indexing, and keep gallery links inside your team's review thread.
