What You Can Now Do
In Context Memo, you can now click directly within text fields in the landing page builder and have the cursor appear exactly where you clicked, without needing to reposition it manually. Before this deploy, clicking into a text block dropped the cursor somewhere other than the click point, so every small copy edit began with an arrow-key hunt. The change is narrow and mechanical: one click, one correct insertion point. What it changes for you is the cost of a small fix. Correcting a stale product claim, a wrong figure, or an outdated competitor reference on a live landing page is now a few-second edit rather than a task you postpone.
Where It Is in Context Memo
The fix lands in the inline text editor component of the landing page builder, so it applies wherever you edit copy directly on the canvas rather than in a sidebar form field. Open any landing page in the builder and the editing surface looks the same as it did yesterday. There's nothing to enable and no setting to find. The only visible difference is where the cursor sits after you click.
How to Use It
- Open the landing page builder and load the page you want to edit. The canvas renders your current blocks.
- Click inside a text block at the exact character you want to change. The cursor appears at that position.
- Type your correction, or delete backward from the insertion point. No arrow keys, no second click to get the cursor into place.
- Test the behavior once on your longest paragraph block by clicking mid-word near the end of the text. That's the case where a misplaced cursor used to cost the most keystrokes.
- Save and publish the page through the normal flow. The edit goes live on your domain.
Why We Built It
Customers told us plainly that they had to fight with cursor placement when editing text in landing pages. The workaround was click, check where the cursor actually landed, nudge it into position, repeat for every block on the page. Landing page edits are rarely rewrites; they're a wrong word or a number that moved. When the smallest edit carries friction, pages sit out of date longer than they should, and outdated pages are exactly what AI models read, summarize, and repeat back to your buyers.
What It Does Not Do Yet
This deploy covers the inline text editor in the landing page builder. Other editing surfaces in the product were not part of the change, so if cursor behavior surprises you elsewhere, send us the page and your browser version and we'll look at it directly. One boundary worth stating: the landing page builder exists to publish citation-grade pages on your own domain. It is not a replacement for your CMS or marketing automation platform, which carry far more functionality for the rest of your site, and we're not building toward that.
