What You Can Now Do
Context Memo now supports a phone-only callback form, and you can send buyers calendar invitations (.ics files) to confirm scheduled callbacks. The practical change: a buyer who lands on your memo and wants a conversation gives you one field, a phone number, and gets back a confirmation email with an attached calendar invite they can accept in Outlook, Google Calendar, or Apple Calendar. You stop treating callback requests as an inbox task that someone has to chase. The buyer's calendar holds the commitment, not your follow-up list.
Where It Is in Context Memo
The phone-only variant lives in your callback form configuration, where you set which fields the form collects. Select the phone-only input mode and the form renders a single phone number field. Calendar invite generation is handled by the callback confirmation email: when a confirmation is sent to a buyer, the .ics file is attached automatically. Both settings sit in the same callback area of the product, so form variant and confirmation behavior are configured together rather than in separate places.
How to Use It
- Open your callback form settings and switch the input mode to phone-only. The preview updates to a single phone number field. Save, and the live form on your memo pages drops to one input.
- Publish or re-publish the memo pages carrying the form. The phone-only variant appears wherever the callback form is embedded. Load one page and submit a test number to confirm the shortened form is live.
- Confirm the test callback from the request queue. This triggers the confirmation email to the submitted contact.
- Open the confirmation email you received and check the attachment. You should see an .ics file with the callback time. Accept it and verify the event lands in your calendar with the right time zone and title.
- Compare submission counts on the phone-only form against your previous multi-field version. Watch the ratio of form views to completed submissions on the same memo pages. One field removes friction; the signal shows up in that ratio, not in a vendor claim.
- Route confirmed callbacks into your CRM through the HubSpot integration. Phone numbers collected through the form arrive as contact records, so your team works callbacks from the same place it works every other inbound request.
Why We Built It
Customers told us callback scheduling was costing them a manual step they shouldn't have to own: a buyer requests a call, and then someone has to email back, propose a time, wait, and re-propose. Some teams were bolting a separate scheduling tool onto a memo page just to confirm a single phone call, which meant a second vendor in the path and a second place for the request to go quiet. The ask was straightforward. Let buyers confirm directly into their calendar instead of requiring manual follow-up or separate scheduling tools. The phone-only variant came from the same conversation: every extra field on a form sitting at the bottom of a memo is a reason for a buyer who is already interested to abandon it.
What It Does Not Do Yet
The .ics file is generated and attached when a confirmation is sent. It is not a two-way calendar sync. If the buyer declines the invite or moves the event in their own calendar, Context Memo does not see that change, and your callback queue will still show the original time. Check the invited address for responses, or reconcile against your CRM record before the call.
The phone-only variant collects a phone number and nothing else. If you need a name, company, or email on the same submission, use the multi-field version of the form. Choose per use case: phone-only for high-intent memo pages where speed matters more than enrichment, multi-field where your sales team needs context before dialing.
Availability depends on time slots you configure for the callback window. The invite reflects the confirmed slot; it does not negotiate alternatives with the buyer automatically. If the buyer needs a different time, that exchange still happens over email or on the phone.
Context Memo also isn't a replacement for your CRM or marketing automation stack. Callback requests and confirmations are designed to hand off cleanly into those systems, which is why the HubSpot integration matters here. Keep the record of truth where your revenue team already works.
