What You Can Now Do
Context Memo now gives you per-offer control: you can enable or disable chat and memo generation on individual offers in the Offers library, and chat directly about a specific offer from the Offers view. Before this deploy, those settings applied to your whole library at once. Now each offer carries its own state, so a retired promotion, a regionally limited offer, or anything sitting in legal review can stay in the library for reference without feeding memo generation. The decision this changes is a practical one: you stop choosing between "generate from everything" and "generate from nothing," and start curating which offers are allowed to shape published content.
Where It Is in Context Memo
Open the Offers library. Each offer row now exposes its own chat and memo generation controls, plus an entry point to start a conversation scoped to that offer. Everything described here lives in the Offers area. No separate settings page to visit, no global switch to coordinate first.
How to Use It
- Open the Offers library and select the offer you want to govern. The offer's chat and memo generation controls appear with that offer, not at the library level.
- Switch memo generation off for any offer that should not produce content. The offer remains visible and editable in the library, and it drops out of memo generation until you switch it back on.
- Switch chat on for the offers your team is actively working. That offer becomes available for chat; offers left off stay out of chat context.
- Click into chat from the offer in the Offers view. Your conversation starts scoped to that offer, so you can ask about positioning, proof points, or what a memo built from it would need to say, without pulling the rest of the library into the thread.
- Scan the library after you finish. The per-offer states are visible from the list, which doubles as your audit view of what is cleared for generation and what is held back.
- Re-run memo generation. Only the offers you left enabled contribute.
Why We Built It
Customers told us they had all-or-nothing settings for the entire offers library. One expired offer, one unapproved price point, or one offer that applies to a single region was enough reason to keep generation off entirely, which meant the approved offers never made it into memos either. The cost was content that stalled in review, or worse, generated content referencing offers that were no longer accurate. Accuracy is the whole point of a citation-grade memo. An outdated offer quoted back by an AI model is the exact failure mode we exist to prevent.
What It Does Not Do Yet
Toggles are set per offer. There is no bulk action in this deploy, so switching a large group of offers at once means working through them individually. If you are onboarding a long library, a workable sequence is to disable at the library level first, then enable the handful of offers you want live, rather than disabling dozens one at a time.
The controls also govern what Context Memo generates going forward. Memos you have already published on your domain are unaffected by switching an offer off. If an offer is wrong in content that is already live, edit and republish that memo; the toggle alone will not change what AI models are reading today.
Offers remain a Context Memo concept. These controls do not write back to your CRM or your CMS. Keep offer records where your revenue team maintains them, and treat the Offers library as the structured source of truth that feeds generation.
