What You Can Now Do
Context Memo now ships a public brand memo intake widget: customers can submit a free brand memo request through a public intake widget, monitor its generation progress, and receive an email link to view the completed memo. No sign-in, no account creation, no tour of the product first. The practical change is that a free memo becomes something you can hand to a prospect the same way you'd hand them a report link, and the request runs to completion without anyone on your team babysitting it. If you've been generating one-off memos manually for prospects who asked, that task is now a link you send.
Where It Is in Context Memo
This sits in the memo generation area of the product and is served as a public-facing intake surface, so the form itself lives outside your authenticated dashboard. The intake screen collects the request details, then hands the visitor a progress view that updates as the run moves through generation. The completed memo is delivered by email as a direct link to the finished output.
How to Use It
- Open the memo generation area and pull the public intake link for the brand memo widget. This is the URL you give to anyone outside your account.
- Place that link where prospects already are: a landing page, an outbound email, a webinar follow-up, a nurture sequence. The visitor does not need credentials to use it.
- The visitor submits the intake form with their brand details. Submission starts a run immediately in a private environment, so the request is not published or exposed anywhere while it generates.
- The visitor stays on the progress view and watches generation advance in real time. There is no blank waiting screen and no "check back later" state to explain in a follow-up message.
- On completion, the system emails a direct link to the finished memo. The recipient clicks through and reads the output without logging in.
- Review which requests came in and what each memo says before your next conversation with that prospect. The memo is the opening argument: it shows them how models currently describe their brand and where the gaps are.
Why We Built It
Customers kept telling us the same thing: they wanted to offer a free brand memo as a lead magnet or a self-service tool, but the only path ran through account creation and the full product. That cost them the top of the funnel. A prospect who wants to see one memo will not sign up, configure a workspace, and learn a new interface to get it, so the request either died at the signup wall or turned into manual work for someone on the team. Removing the account requirement removes both.
The second cost was credibility at first touch. A free memo is the fastest way to show a prospect what AI models actually say about their brand, and that demonstration lands hardest when it arrives as a finished artifact rather than a demo booking. Delivering it by email link closes that loop without a meeting.
What It Does Not Do Yet
This is Phase 1. What shipped is the intake form, the private run environment, progress tracking, and email delivery. Anything past that is not in this deploy.
Specifically:
- Submissions are not routed into HubSpot or any other CRM automatically. If you want these requests in your pipeline, treat the inbound email trail as the record for now and move them over manually.
- The free memo generated through intake is not published to your domain as part of this flow. Own-domain publishing remains a separate step inside the product, and that is still where citation value accrues.
- The widget does not qualify or filter submissions. Every request that comes through the form runs.
- There is no scan or citation tracking attached to the intake request itself. The memo is the output; measuring how models respond to it is work you do in the scanning and citation tracking parts of the product.
One honest caveat on where the free memo helps least: brands with no domain and no existing content will get a memo that accurately reflects a thin footprint. That is useful diagnostic information, but the fix for those prospects is foundational content first, not an AI visibility program on day one.
