What You Can Now Do
Context Memo now shows which brand owns a phone number in the offer style preview on the dashboard. Previously the preview rendered the offer and its number with no indication of the brand behind that number, which meant anyone reviewing offers across more than one brand had to confirm ownership somewhere else before approving. Now the owning brand is on the same screen as the number. The decision this changes is approval: you can sign off on an offer, or catch a number assigned to the wrong brand, without leaving the preview.
Where It Is in Context Memo
Dashboard, offers view, inside the offer style preview. The owning brand is displayed alongside the phone number in the preview itself. The same ownership information now flows through the offers generation API response and the offer webhook payload, so the attribution you see in the UI is the attribution your downstream systems receive.
How to Use It
- Open the offers view on your dashboard. Offers load with their style previews available.
- Select an offer to render its preview. The phone number appears with its owning brand attached.
- Check the displayed brand against the brand the offer is meant to run under. If they differ, the problem is number assignment, not offer copy, and the fix belongs with your number records rather than the offer.
- Pull offers through the offers generation API and read the brand ownership field directly from the response instead of maintaining your own number-to-brand mapping.
- Update your offer webhook handler to persist the brand ownership field so records created downstream carry attribution from the moment they are written.
- Re-check any offer you previously approved under ambiguity. The preview now tells you in one look whether the pairing was right.
Why We Built It
Reviewers in multi-brand accounts kept asking the same question: which brand owns this number? The preview did not answer it, so the answer came from a second system, a spreadsheet, or a colleague. That ambiguity cost review time on every offer and, worse, let numbers get approved under the wrong brand, which turned into reporting cleanup and attribution that could not be trusted after the fact. Ownership belongs next to the number, at the moment of review.
What It Does Not Do Yet
This is a display and payload change. It surfaces ownership where a number has an owning brand recorded; it does not assign or reassign ownership, and it will not notify you when ownership changes. Reassignment still happens where your numbers are managed, and we have not added an audit view of ownership changes over time. If you need that history today, capture the brand ownership field from the webhook payload on each offer event and keep it in your own records.
